Covion and Ormecon signed second, broader license agreement

Based on the earlier license, which Ormecon / Zipperling Kessler have granted to Covion Semiconductors beginning of 2000, the partners have agreed on a second contract. Now, all conductive polymers are included as far as they are covered by Zipperling's / Ormecon's patents. The first contract was limited to polyaniline.

Moreover, the exclusive character of the license was underligned and strengthened with the second agreement. Covion is the only licensee being entitled to use and sell Ormecon's polyaniline for organic light emitting diodes or other electronic thin film devices, like organic memory chips or integrated circuit chips. Covion's customers are entitled to use them as well based on and limited to each individual sales case.
