Ormecon Chemie is a 100% subsidiary of the Holding
Zipperling Kessler, which is fully privately owned. Ormecon
was founded in January 1996 and registered in March. Zipperling and Ormecon have now a
research history in conductive polymers and Organic Metals of more than 20 years. We
perform basic and applied research devoted to
chemistry, physics, dispersion, processing and applications of conductive polymers,
especially our proprietary organic metal
polyaniline (polyphenylene amine).
Ormecon is the first and only company in the world to supply
the Organic Metal. The technology is based on research and development done at Zipperling
Kessler (with basically the same personel which moved to Ormecon in 1996) and covered by
more than 200 patents owned by Zipperling Kessler.
