| A large number of businessmen, related to PCB and its Assembly industry, participated in the Seminar on the Immersion Tin Technology using Organic Metal, which was held by the Ormecon Chemie Corp. of Germany (Dr. Wessling) and Germany Chemical Corp. (Dr. Song) together at the Songdo Beach Hotel in Inchon, Korea. |
It was unusual that the seminar opened in Korea, where its PCB business had exposed so closed characteristics that no system of exchanging information have ever existed. Another extraordinary thing was, the participants witnessed, that almost one hundred engineers engaged in Korea PCB business participated in the seminar and shared a heated discussions.
Such a hot response from the Korea PCB businesses, which had avoided to open their own techniques using, came from that the seminar could present an alternative possibility to strengthen their competitive edge for the international competition. In this seminar, people could get a tip of what was going on in the PCB business in the advanced foreign countries. The related people analyzed these two reasons for drawing Korean's attention.
Its PCB businesses have a few urgent matters to tackle, if they want to have a competitive edge in the international market and if they want to follow closely the advanced nations in the PCB business winning over the Taiwanese and Chinese competition. They are recovering the compatible price and solving the environmental issues.
Unless they apply a new alternative technology especially, domestic PCB businesses, which depended on the HAL technique mainly using the tin, will be doomed to fail both to recover the compatible price for the international market and to move over the environmental round armed with the trade barrier.
In this circumstance, the new Immersion Tin technology using ORMECON CSN which Ormecon of Germany developed successfully can suggest an alternative. President Dr. Wessling of Ormecon, a rising star by his successful development of ORMECON, the world's first Organic Metal which was expected the guiding material for the next generation, explained, "The new Immersion Tin technology using ORMECON CSN can solve such problems as energy overuse, environmental pollution, and malfunction in connecting parts on the boards(SMD Technology) all at once".
"The Immersion Tin technology using ORMECON CSN", assured Dr. Wessling, "prevents the malfunction often occurred by the soldering when we load various electronic parts on the MLB of micropatternic high multiple layers particularly as the HAL technique applied. He remarked that over thirty PCB businesses in the world, such as Parlex Corp. of the United States, Spemco of the G. B., Siemens and Hella of Germany, have applied this technique and proved its dependability. Daeduck Electronics, an outstanding Korean PCB business will use this method, ORMECON CSN, in the factories in Philippines and supply the parts to the Daimler Chrysler. of the largest German Auto-Maker, he explained.
President Dr. Wessling stated, "Germany takes the role of the gate toward Europe into which PCB was imported." Therefore, Korean PCB businesses which plan to export to Europe should pay attention to the new Immersion Tin technology using ORMECON CSN, he concluded.
